Linking each city for the people of the Llano Estacado
The cities shown on the preceding page are a part of the "FREE
COMMUNICATIONS" area of the SafeTI Net surrounding Lubbock,
Texas. View a map of any city by clicking on a city name. You can "zoom
in" to see a larger scale or move in any direction or there are other
options at the bottom of the map page. To return to the cities page just
click your "back" button. But first . . .
Try this: It is possible from the map of any of the referenced cities to find out how many miles distant any other city is from there; the route direction to reach any destination; the location on the map of any street address in that rural town . . . (pretty amazing)
Ponder this: This is a simple demonstration of the limitless possibilities for our rural communities. Future uses would be to have each church, school, or any other entity's schedule of events coordinated throughout the entire regional area (and searchable by date, by category) to better utilize our limited but potentially large (when managed properly) market's size when put to better use! Why we could even give explicit voting instructions to our elected officials over a network like this (and have Price Waterhouse deliver the vote instructions directly to officials). Our future is too important to not actively innovate with the purpose being rural survival, even prosperity.
